When will it be ready?Back to Top

Version 4 will be launching in stages during 2006.  Clients will be notified when new features are available.

 

Will my monthly fees change?Back to Top

No, monthly fees for current clients and new clients will stay the same!  You'll now get even more value for the same low rates.

 

What features are included?Back to Top

The following new features are part of SiteOrganic 4:

  • Total Redesign:  New, streamlined design of the Admin Console
  • Podcasting:  Visitors can subscribe to your daily/weekly audio programs
  • Private Groups:  Document sharing, password-protect pages, messaging and more... Perfect for small groups, membership/fan clubs, or leadership teams
  • Enhanced Workflow/Approval System:  Supports multiple versions of content, version rollbacks; control editorial permissions for each user and each page
  • Time-Saving Features:  One-step form copying, scheduled email jobs, link browser
  • All-new Storefront Platform:  Product bundling, coupons, live shipping quotes, specials and more

 

Will every plan get every feature?Back to Top

As always, different plans will offer different features.  Please consult the Compare Plans page to see a full list.  Also, please note that design charges may apply for clients who want to implement certain new features on their Websites.
 

Can we upgrade to a new plan if we want to get additional features?Back to Top

Yes, you may always upgrade from one SiteOrganic plan to a higher one.  To find out the cost of doing so, subtract your original setup/design fee from the cost of the new plan.  Your monthly fee will be adjusted to the new plan once the migration is complete.  Please contact your SiteOrganic Project Manager to learn more about scheduling.

 
How long will it take to get the new features?Back to Top

Some features, such as Podcasting, the redesigned Admin Console, and the Workflow System, will be available for all eligible clients as soon as they're released.  No retrofitting of your Website is required.  In other cases, such as the Private Groups and Storefront modules, additional (billable) design time may be required to implement these features on your Website.  Please contact your SiteOrganic Project Manager for details.

 

What if I don't want to change my Website?Back to Top

All clients will receive improvements to the Admin Console.  However, if none of the new features are needed on your Website, you don't need to do a thing.  There will be no visible change on your public Website unless you decide to use the new features.
