Our system allows for a high degree of design flexibility, operates with server-side and client-side standards, and utilizes some of the latest techniques for streamlining code and interface behaviors. We have an immediate opening for the following position:

Position Title:
Flash Developer

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and program complex Flash applets/applications for internal and client use
    • Create common code libraries for re-use across multiple Flash components
    • Troubleshoot and QA Flash projects before/during/after client delivery
    • Assist in designing new Flash features to keep SiteOrganic at the leading edge of ministry Website design

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years experience with Flash
    • Proficiency writing ActionScript 2.0 object-oriented code (AS 3 experience is a plus)
    • Working knowledge of solid development principles, with a willingness to follow established coding standards and to accurately document all work
    • Ability to create interfaces for dynamic content using external XML and/or Flex, Flash Remoting, etc. This includes the ability to write XML parsing engines
    • Guru-level understanding of Javascript front-end development, and working with JSON data interfaces. Experience with RESTful interfaces is also a strong plus.
    • Strong understanding of effective UI/UX design
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
    • Experience working in a design team environment
    • Ability to meet tight deadlines and to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Solid knowledge of:
      • HTML
      • CSS
      • Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Fireworks
      • Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Freehand
    • Familiarity with the capabilities of server-side technologies such as ASP, ASP.NET, or PHP

    Senior Interactive Designer
